"One of the major talents of our time." -Boston Globe.
In a long professional career begun in early childhood, Canadian singer-songwriter Garnet Rogers has established himself as one of the most influential performers in North America. Hailed by the Globe as a "charismatic performer and singer", his commanding physical presence, "smooth, dark baritone" (Washington Post), remarkable range and thoughtful, dramatic phrasing combine to make him one of the finest singers anywhere. His music is literate, passionate, sensitive, and deeply purposeful; his songs "give expression to the unspoken vocabulary of the heart" (Kitchener Waterloo Record). A dedicated optimist, Garnet sings about hidden heroes and hails the small victories of the everyday. As memorable as his songs, his quick wit and over-the-top humor can move audiences from tears to laughter and back again. We're thrilled to have this superb performer back after 15 years. Come early for a good seat!
Garnet is strongly dedicated to community involvement, and requests that audience members bring non-perishable foods or personal care items such as shampoo and soap to the concert for donation to Falmouth's food bank, The Falmouth Service Center.
