The Cahoon Museum is named in honor of the local contemporary primitive painter, Ralph Cahoon (1910-1982) and is housed in his former home/studio, a 1775 Georgian colonial farmhouse. Cahoon's works, as well as other regional artists, make up the permanent collection. The Museum also presents five to seven changing exhibitions annually. Free admission, Tuesday-Saturday, 10-4. |

This SIGNATURE Gallery of one of Cape Cods most well known artists, Jan Collins Selman, offers original oils, pastels and limited edition Giclee prints by the artist, as well as the works of fifteen other local painters, ceramists, potters and printers. Ms. Selman, a multi award winning artist, has lived in Falmouth for 25 years and was creator of the 2005 Boston POPS BY THE SEA painting, on the cover of September's CAPE COD LIFE magazine. It sold at auction to benefit the Arts Foundation of Cape Cod.
