The Dance Vision Festivals bring together many different people involved in dance from all over the world, and the festivals are held in many locations depending on the project. For the Falmouth festival last year, for example, there was a classical Indian dancer from Bombay, India, Sufi Sacred Circle dancers from Western Massachusetts and Modern dancers from New York City. The leaders present workshops and performances related to the concept of dance as a form of spiritual practice or expression. Workshops are offered in Visioning (based on Native American practices), Creative Movement, Sacred Circle Dances, and many other forms. The entire effort is community oriented with as much participation as possible---with the intent also of exposing audiences to the idea that dance in its original forms was based on community and spirituality.

For more info please check our website (shown at left) It lists dance events from all over the world, has bulletinboards, discussion groups, essays, a gallery, music, and generally serves the spirit-dance community encouraging networking for workshops and performances, resources and information. It also promotes the Dance Vision Festival which has had festival dates in New York City and Cape Cod.
